Overview

Responsible for managing women's health services program at AltaMed Medical Group clinics. Functions as an integral part of the clinic administration team. Under the direct supervision of the AVP for Health Services, is responsible for the administration, quality, efficiency arid supervision of the Women's Health Program. Duties include oversight of all Women's Health Program staff, development of training and quality program, preparation and monitoring of policies and procedures, interfacing with community collaborators, fiscal management, program operations and logistics, and program evaluation and data collection and reporting. Will work collaboratively with operations and corporate support staff to implement expanded Women's and Children's Program at all AltaMed clinics.

Responsibilities

  1. Completes subordinates performance evaluations in a timely manner.
  2. Provide supervision, in collaboration with Clinic Administrators, to all Woman's Health Coordinator and Community Health worker staff. Provide direct supervision to Title X Coordinator.
  3. Develop work plan for expanded Women's and Children's Program at all AltaMed clinics. Components include fiscal, quality, efficiency, network, and patient satisfaction.
  4. Conduct regular staff meetings with program staff ensuring communication of program goals and objectives in conjunction with AltaMed's strategic plan.
  5. Recommend and implement reporting systems to capture all encounter data related to program, including visits, deliveries and specialty costs. Prepare program reports arid correspondence.
  6. Maintain and update program policies and procedures, Coordinate distribution and inservices for site Women's Health Coordinators.
  7. Monitor the fiscal components of the program and maintain fiscal compliance in collaboration with corporate accounting department.
  8. Approve program expenses within budget guidelines.
  9. Develop and monitor program goals and objectives, including clinical visits, outreach numbers, and referrals from outreach to clinical services.
  10. Lead and establish the seamless integration of al; program components through teamwork, to assure teen- and family-centered, culturally competent, and coordinated services,
  11. Develop, maintain and expand collaborations with multiple community agencies to support Women's and Children's program development.
  12. Promote and facilitate access to preventive health care utilization by program participants.
  13. Serve as lead operations staff on Women's and Children's Program Development committee.
  14. Develop recommendations for improvement of AltaMed delivery network to promote return of women to post-partum visit and securing of children to AltaMed programs.
  15. Training, coaching and mentoring of program staff.
  16. Participate in program audits and ensure compliance with all CPSP, Family PACT, Title X, and health plan preventive guidelines for women of all ages.
  17. Complete community needs assessment and develop outreach plan in conjunction with managed care and marketing departments.
  18. Develop productivity standards for women's health staff and ensure optimal billing and visit maximization.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services or equivalent experience required
  2. Prefer Master’s Degree: MBA, MHA, MPH, or degree in closely related field.            
  3. Knowledge and experience, minimum two years, working with marketing/outreach techniques.
  4. Knowledge and experience in Healthcare, particularly with the California Market.
