  • Overview

    Provides technical leadership within AltaMed’s Information Services (IS) Clinical Applications Team by optimizing product design, development, and integration of authorization and referral enterprise solution. Collaborates with the IS management team and key enterprise stakeholders to drive product strategy and planning to further functional, system/data integration and analytical reporting capabilities. Has primary responsibility for the integrated design, development, and supportability of the Access Express enterprise authorization and referral platform, working closely with Clinical Applications, Business Intelligence, and Enterprise Analytics peer groups. Will enhance the Access Express platform and capabilities to meet AltaMed needs, reporting to the Director, Application Support and Development. Aligns Business and IT strategy for integration in system design and development and in accordance with service level agreements. Ensures the integration of the platform within the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Analytics processes, while achieving departmental and corporate goals.

    1. Bachelors’ degree in Health Care Administration, Computer Science, Informatics, Business Administration or other related fields.
    2. 7 years healthcare technology experience, including 5 years professional experience in a Managed Service organization.
    3. 7 years of proven experience leading architecture strategy, design, and development within Clinical Applications and Enrollment domains.
    4. 10 years extensive experience leading systems and data warehouse integration architecture and design, including rational database design and analytics.
    5. 5 years leading and contributing to enterprise healthcare technology evaluations and selections
    6. 10 years combined advanced Microsoft SQL administration, architecture, design and development
    7. 7 years web design and development (HTML), including .Net design and development

    8. 5 years HL7 workflow integrated design

    9. 5 years leading SDLC execution in an integrated healthcare system and data environment

    10. 3 years’ experience with Medi-Cal and Medicare desirable.

    11. 7 years proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with IT and Business stakeholders, and technical teams.

    12. 5 years combined experience with Cognos , Crystal, Microsoft SSRS & Tableau reporting tools.
