Overview

The Enrollment Development Specialist I (EDS I) supports all marketing efforts for AltaMed Senior Care Services, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). He/she will conduct marketing events to increase PACE awareness within an assigned geographical area. The EDS I, focuses on developing relationships with, key stakeholders, healthcare professionals, providers, and community based organizations. He/she will be the initial primary point of contact representing PACE to the senior population within culturally diverse populations and underserved communities. The primary responsibility for the EDS I, is to increase census for their assigned PACE location. He/she must be able to identify new referral sources, generate new leads, schedule visitors to tour PACE center(s) and procure qualified leads to enrollments. The EDS I, will be responsible for professionally representing AltaMed PACE program by maintaining a strict adherence with local, state, federal, and AltaMed’s Business Code of Conduct and Standards of Behavior. The EDS I must work as part of a team, concentrating on the delivery of high quality services to all of our customers. He/she will be instrumental in supporting the PACE site Center Manager with retention strategies to maintain member census.

Responsibilities

  1. Present and deliver oral presentations promoting AltaMed Senior Care Services; Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly to various groups throughout the PACE service area.
  2. Produce self-generated leads; schedule visitor(s) for tours and presentations, conduct outreach and thorough follow-up with all potential clients for enrollment efforts to AltaMed programs.
  3. Maintain and report production results, daily/weekly/monthly. Must keep accurate records to track all individual productivity through the implemented department systems such as: CRM database, daily tracking reports and spreadsheets.
  4. Strictly adhere to State, Federal, and DHS regulations and policies regarding marketing practices for AltaMed Senior Care Services and PACE marketing CMS Guidelines.
  5. Develop and maintain professional relationships with referral sources within the PACE geographical service area. Forward non eligible PACE leads to Marketing AltaMed Community Access Point Center (CAP).
  6. Mail/deliver information about AltaMed’s comprehensive health and social services to various community based organizations that serve seniors residing within the PACE service area.
  7. Organize and conduct a minimum of 2 events per month 1; for internal and 1 external. Presentations will be geared to service area hospitals, schools, churches, social agencies, senior centers and other healthcare agencies, and to other interested groups, etc.
  8. Develop and maintain referral sources by utilizing contact databases, which become proprietary collateral of AltaMed Health Care Services.
  9. Set up canopy, tabletop, chair, marketing materials, distribute collateral to promote AltaMed Senior Care Services PACE program at various community and healthcare events.
  10. Develop a quarterly 30/60/90 marketing plan with market analysis to generate qualified leads, visitors and enrollments.
  11. Maintain and Collaborate with Center Managers and operational teams to develop retention strategies to maintain member census.
  12. Perform other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to working events in the evenings and weekends.
  13. Assigned geographical territory may be subject to change as needed.

Qualifications

  1. B.S./B.A. degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred.
  2. A minimum of three (3) years direct outreach/marketing/sales experience in the healthcare industry required.
  3. A minimum of two (2) years business to consumer/outside sales/marketing experience required.
  4. Experience working with senior population and the underserved population preferred.
  5. Bilingual: Spanish/English or English/Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese or English/Vietnamese preferred.
