  • Overview

    This position is responsible for the day to day ‘back office’ operations of the clinic by overseeing the employees in providing nursing care to the clinic patients as well as implementing and assuring quality medical management and cost containment health services to patients.


    1. Plans, organizes, and oversees staff to provide quality patient care.
    2. Evaluates care and ensures customer satisfaction.
    3. Oversees the department’s daily staffing requirements.
    4. Ensures a thorough orientation plan for new staff members and orients clinical staff to their job responsibilities.
    5. Evaluates and schedules in-services/training necessary to keep the staff current
    6. Serves as liaison with physicians.
    7. Ensures department activities and records are in adherence to all licensing and regulatory requirements.
    8. Implements and interprets organizational policies and procedures and applicable standards and regulations.
    9. Assists with preparing the departmental fiscal budget.
    10. Functions as Patient Advocate, ensuring that patient concerns are resolved or addressed expeditiously.
    11. Perform all other related duties as assigned.


    1. Graduation from an accredited LVN school coupled with a Current LVN license issued by the State of California required.
    2. A minimum of three years experience working in clinical care management in an outpatient setting, preferably in a Family Practice environment also required.
    3. IV Certification required.
    4. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
    5. Prior experience with an Electronic Health/Medical (EHR/EMR) system preferred.
    6. Must maintain current CPR/First Aid training.
