  • Overview

    Under the direction and oversight of the Director, this position is responsible for effective planning, managing and implementation of clinic-based grant projects. Effectively prepares monthly/quarterly/yearly grant reports and invoices, cost reports and reconciliations for all current and new Health Services grants. Prepares analysis of program data requirements and budget projections and recommends course of action to take for directors. 

    Responsibilities

    1. Develop and maintain a detailed project plan/schedule which includes administrative tasks and all sites/team members involved in the grant project.
    2. Prepares detail listing of all grants to include staffing, grant compliance requirements, term of grant, amount of grant, contract people, reapplication schedule, and the schedule of all required reports including budget amendments to adequately monitor reporting compliance.
    3. Set and monitor all aspects of grant funded personnel, with notification to management and individual as to grant responsibility, notification to payroll department for appropriate allocation of hours, notification to granting agency of any changes in staff during grant period.
    4. Coordinates routine meetings with operations personnel involved in grant deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency of program objectives.
    5. Continue to foster good working relationships with managers, peer and contracting agencies.
    6. Monitor contract performance and bring performance issues, significant findings, including potential risk management issues to the attention of the appropriate Clinic Administrator and/or Director of Clinic Operations.
    7. Assist in identifying new grant funding opportunities as well as assessing any new prospects for compatibility with clinical operations.
    8. Meet all invoice/billing deadlines.
    9. Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in business, health, organizational management or other related fields required or comparable field experience. Master’s degree highly desirable.
    2. Experience in community-building projects and/or quality-improvement projects preferred.
