  • Overview

    The marketing manager will assist in the development of strategic marketing plans and budgets designed to promote AltaMed services to internal and external stakeholders. The manager will ensure that marketing tactics are executed with excellence, and measured quantitatively and qualitatively to determine success and future applications.


    1. Prepares campaign effectiveness reports for management review and statistical analysis.
    2. Performs market trend analysis and provides technical assistance related to community assessments, market studies, and other trend analysis related to the marketing activities of the HIV and other departments as assigned. Must continuously update knowledge and skills related to marketing.
    3. Review weekly, monthly and quarterly budget projections with management and staff to determine effectiveness and progress of marketing and outreach efforts.
    4. Develops program and market specific materials (including text and graphics) and ensures brand and message continuity of marketing collateral.
    5. Manage and update digital marketing platforms through content management system, email platforms and social media dashboards.
    6. Responsible for cultivating relationships, establishing network mainstreams, and ensuring that marketing materials promoting AltaMed’s services are delivered to strategic partners/affiliates, such as community based organizations.
    7. Works closely with the Sr. Manager Public Relations in achieving/exceeding the goals and objectives of the Communications department including the development and execution of marketing strategies.
    8. Interfaces with internal operational departments to effectively develop and execute all components of the marketing plan strategy.
    9. Recommends and upon approval, implements new policies, procedures and systems for the department which improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    10. Performs all other related duties as assigned.



    1. Preferred BA/BS Degree in Communications, Marketing, Health care, Business Administration or other closely related experience.
    2. Minimum of three years’ experience with community based/health care marketing management principles or a related field.
