The Civic Engagement Coordinator will develop program content and implement the companywide Civic Engagement Initiatives. This position requires the knowledge and background to grow an informed base of supporters who can be engaged to sustain AltaMeds’s civic engagement programs and advocacy activities. The Coordinator will lead the implementation of activities, such as conducting outreach, education, voter registration, and get out the vote (GOTV) canvassing activities. The Coordinator will also identify, establish, and maintain strategic community partnerships with the shared goals of engaging and mobilizing underserved communities to participate civically. The Coordinator must be able to work independently as well as interdependently with the Government Relations team to advance our mission, goals, and objectives for this initiative.
