  • Overview

    This position is responsible for leading and managing front office operations dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers by ensuring the delivery of the highest quality patient experience by partnering with site management, measuring progress against goals, identifying trends and implementing process improvements.


    1. Provides leadership, direction and coordination of daily clinic operations.

    2. Develops synergistic relationships with clinical staff to deliver the quality and financial outcomes impacting quality care.

    3. Develops and maintains working knowledge of regulations and standards specific to the clinic(s), including billing regulations.

    4. Monitors workload and systems, coordinating resources to optimize operational efficiencies and patient satisfaction.

    5. Develops and manages physician templates and calendars to ensure adequate facility coverage and in-budget compliance.

    6. Ensures quality patient outcomes for key areas of responsibility, including but not limited to HEDIS, preventive care and meaningful use.

    7. Builds effective teams through education, training, development and mentoring of staff.

    8. Conducts health plan and regulatory audits and oversees their compliance.

    9. Works collaboratively with patient financial services to ensure timely and accurate capture / submission of charges.

    10. Coordinates and ensures appropriate patient and clinic flow with the interdisciplinary team.

    11. Provides and/or oversees training and development of all new hires and oversees customer service behaviors.

    12. Oversees daily cash deposits and ensures reconciliations. 

    13. Oversees patient eligibility verifications and financial screening processes for all programs and plans.

    14. Ensures that all patient complaints are documented and resolved in a manner satisfactory to the patient in collaboration with clinic management team. 

    15. Participates in the planning and budgeting process for the clinic; identifies appropriate future staffing requirements and resources.

    16. Develops and implements strategic, business and organizational goals/objectives.

    17. Perform all other related duties as assigned.


    1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience required. 

    2. A minimum of four years of supervisory/management experience in a customer-facing organization required.
