  • Overview

    The Director of Employee Services will be responsible for end-to-end program management, delivery, and administration our employee rewards programs. Priorities for this position include management of our job architecture, job profiles, competency models, and partnering with compensation team on plan design process and further development of our benefits and wellness programs. This position requires a good mix of hands-on, operational and design experience, as well as solid working knowledge of compliance and regulatory laws and regulations. The Director of Employee Services will be expected to evaluate current benefit, leaves and compensation programs and strategize with executives and the broader Human Resources team on how they can be optimized to support a high-performance culture.


    1. Acts as a resource and advisor to internal and external stakeholders, on benefits, leaves and compensation structures as required.
    2. Ensure programs are market competitive and aligned with business goals and administered with company policies and government regulations.
    3. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies, guidelines, architecture and procedures with recommendations and plans for changes to continually drive best practices.
    4. Partner with Director of Compensation to benchmark compensation incentives plans and ensure the overall program design is competitive. Collaborating with key functional leaders to align and propose plan modifications as needed.
    5. Work closely with Director of Compensation on program management, benchmark analysis, and general administration.
    6. Review benchmark surveys, analyze competitive market data and develop recommendations for updates to job architecture, salary structures and bonus targets as appropriate.
    7. In connection with broker, research and develop strategy for all benefit programs. Prepare qualitative and quantitative analytics to support development of cost-effective benefit programs, including proposals for program changes, utilization, vendor performance, trends and program analysis. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.


    1. A minimum of ten years of increasingly responsible experience in and comprehensive knowledge of total rewards, including a minimum of five years managing teams and vendor relationships. Additional experience in finance or compensation/benefits consulting would be preferred but not required.
    2. BS or BA degree with concentration in business management, finance, accounting, human resources or related field.
    3. Experience selecting and managing external consulting relationships.
    4. Experience managing compliance and regulatory requirements.
