    Under the guidance of the Supervisor, Academic Partnerships, the Coordinator of Talent Acquisition will coordinate recruitment, selection, and placement of clinical and non-clinical experiential learning opportunities for pre-health professions students. The Coordinator of Talent Acquisition will facilitate recruitment activities and build intern candidate relationships. The Coordinator will support and maintain the selection process and coordinate onboarding and off boarding and placement of interns. The Coordinator will provide administrative, project management and logistical support throughout the intern process. The Coordinator will coordinate data collection and reporting, and maintain tracking and evaluation of student interns. The Coordinator will provide efficient, compliant customer service-oriented programs.

    Responsibilities

    1. Coordinates and completes all pre-onboarding screening processes individually including but not limited to: reference and background checks, health screening, and licensure/degree/certification verifications.
    2. Manages intern placement, provides support to interns and ensures compliance of the placement.
    3. Serves as a liaison with internal and external candidates on matters relating to onboarding activities.
    4. Plans and executes arrangements and logistics for all career-related events, job fairs and conferences.
    5. Participates in job fairs and other activities to attract qualified candidates for internship programs.
    6. Supports the Supervisor of Academic Partnerships with Talent Acquisition on Talent Ready prospects and recruitment activities. Implements recruitment activities with academic partners.
    7. Provides communications to program participants and alumni regarding program and job opportunities; maintains relationships through one-on-one and group communications.
    8. Adheres to established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards.
    9. Maintains accurate records and files.
    10. Pre-screens intern candidates and schedules all interviews for site supervisors, preceptors and hiring managers.
    11. Delivers orientation and/or communicates orientation instructions to interns, site supervisors and preceptors.
    12. Prepares all materials for orientation session and coordinates intern badges for new interns.
    13. Delivers orientation presentation for interns.
    14. Prepares monthly productivity reports for the Supervisor and supports the development of expansion plans. Responsible for coordination of data collection, reporting, tracking and evaluation.
    15. Participates in program audits and site visits and ensures compliance with Department of Labor and all applicable laws, policies and guidelines. Includes coordination of audit preparation.
    16. Delivers accurate, timely, and responsive customer services.
    17. Serves as back-up for the Coordinator, Academic Partnerships on processing of Teaching Institution Agreements and delivery of internships.
    18.  Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college of university program in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field.
    2. Minimum of 3 years of experience with student recruiting programs with diverse, underrepresented student populations with an emphasis on graduate programs and/or medical school. Experience working with students with a variety of academic interests and abilities
    3. Experienced in Applicant Tracking and CRM Systems.
    4. Basic knowledge of California labor laws.
    5. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
